A series of queer epistolary romances set in a magical version of 1820s Paris. Featuring nonbinary main characters, several murders, and explicit sex.

There is an overarching plot, most present in books 1 and 3, but each book contains a new romance.

Series extras

A short story, "Supplemental files regarding Item 291," that is free to anyone signed up for my author announcement emails. It's a sort of "solving a case" story that's also a romance between two supporting characters (ace m/m), set during and before The Scandalous Letters of V and J.
